Floor Sanded!

Also this week i sanded the floor. Such beautiful wood underneath, can't wait to live with it :)

Porch

In the last week Scott has been working really hard on the frame for our porch. Almost there:

Kitchen Window In!

One step closer to becoming water tight! we have a kitchen window! Dad kindly made and fitted the window into its hole in the kitchen wall :

Front Door

Scott is making us a front door. So far we have dug in some recycled concrete blocks and stacked up 3 more on each to get the height we want. 

I think the plan is to put board on them then joists on that then board over them to make a floor to a small porch. 

Jeanna our french woofer cleaned all the inside of the barrel ready for us to start work again. Its good to have a clean floor to begin. 

Summer is crowded.
